CRUFTS 6th - 9th March 2008 Animals Asia Stand - Hall 1 Stand 172 Just returned from a 2 day visit to Crufts. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time there as usual, so much to do, so much to see. We stayed at the Hilton hotel next door, which was literally a 5 minute walk away. The stay was made more enjoyable as the whole hotel had been taken over by dog handlers complete with dogs from all over the world. All the Pedigree® staff looked exhaused but exhilarated in the bar after a full day on their stand, which was just about the size of the village we live in. We were delighted to meet so many staff and volunteers at the Animals Asia stand. It was 'buzzing' everytime we walked past. People were queing to sign the petition against animal cruelty. Many of the staff from other stands had been over to sign the petition and we in full support of the work Animals Asia is achieving. Known as Philip to his friends and family, he was competing for Best in Show for the third time. Philip, the winner of the Working Group, is owned by Mr and Mrs Cullen from St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex www.animalsasia.org
